Oranmore Castle’s annual Christmas event is on Fri 18th December from 5pm – 8pm with mulled wine, a roaring fire and lots of gorgeous knits that will make the perfect gift! Continues Saturday 19th December from noon – 2pm.

You are invited to the opening of Heather Finn Knitwear’s Garden Studio Shop at Oranmore Castle, Co. Galway.

The Glitter and the Gloaming
My inspiration for Autumn/Winter 2014 is ‘The Glitter and the Gloaming’.
This collection was inspired by my home in the west of Ireland, Medieval castles, stone walls covered in green lichen, rich textiles, woven with gold and bronze and the Medici palaces of Florence.
Colour is richer this season; plums, charcoals, midnight blues, shades of grey, shot through with metallics. Textures are layered and aged. Relaxed shapes; luxurious coats, wraps and hoods that are striking and protect against the elements.

The Garden Studio grand opening
My new garden studio and shop opens this Friday 20th June 5-8pm on the grounds of Oranmore Castle, Co. Galway.
We are celebrating with prosecco and 10% off all purchases on the night!
If you can’t make the launch we will be open by appointment from June to August.
